Here's the yacht that I spent a number of years sailing about on. She was a Van der Stadt, Tuffglass33. This design was apparently also marketed as a Seacracker 33. She had a long fin keel, a 22hp 3 cylinder Yanmar motor, deep freeze and various comforts on board.
The original owner was Peter Morris of Poole, who relocated to Tortola in the
British Virgin Islands. I bought her from Peter in 1989 and after sailing her
around the north Atlantic, Caribbean and the gulf of Mexico, I sold her in
Houston in 2000. My understanding was that she was to be taken to Louisiana by
her new owners.
